Lewis Furniture sell a wide range of furniture, from their two shops and also online. Their existing site was not easy to manage or update, and lacked many of the features that users expect from an online shopping website. They asked Pomcat to build them a new site, and to help them migrate, upload the product catalogue and integrate the shop with Paypal so that they could accept credit cards.
Pomcat built a new store on the Big Commerce trading platform, helping with registration with Paypal and integrating their Website Payments Pro solution into the site. We also advised on PCI compliance – the mandatory set of rules that website owners must comply with if they are handling personal or credit card information.
The new site is easy to manage and update, and is delivering well for the company. Louise, the site’s manager, commented:
